COVID-19 RESPONSE & PRECAUTIONS

We are committed to your health & safety during the COVID-19 situation

In order to ensure the safety of all of our patients and our staff, and in line with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) directives to reduce the spread of COVID-19, we have now temporarily closed non-essential medical services at our clinic. We will keep you informed as more updates are received from the DHA regarding the resumption of these services.

We remain committed to your safety and well-being and to providing top quality healthcare services during these challenging times and therefore we will continue to operate in a reduced capacity to cater to the needs of our patients or anyone requiring urgent medical care. This includes our patients who require follow-up for their chronic conditions in line with DHA directives.

We have also launched a new tele-consultation platform to facilitate your communication with our doctors and to reduce non-urgent medical visits. Accessible via voice and video calling services, you can avail consultation with your preferred doctor as well as be able to receive an electronic prescription or guidance regarding any laboratory or radiological investigations, if required.

For patients who still need to physically come into the clinic, please be aware that we are implementing additional screenings as precautionary measures to reduce the risk of exposure to infection. You can expect the following steps to be taken when you plan to visit the clinic:

When booking an appointment:

When calling to book an appointment, all patients are asked to disclose the following:

• If they are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough &/or breathing difficulties,
• If they have come into contact with someone who is a confirmed case of COVID-19 illness, or
• If they have traveled to the high-risk countries (as identified by WHO) in the past 14 days.

If the answer is affirmative to either question, they are advised to NOT visit the medical center until the symptoms are less severe or alternatively visit the relevant government medical provider for COVID-19 testing.

When visiting our center:

All patients visiting the center, whether by appointment or as walk-ins, are requested to fill out a questionnaire to disclose the following:

• If they are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough &/or breathing difficulties,
• if they have come into contact with someone who is a confirmed case of COVID-19 illness, or
• if they have traveled to the high-risk countries (as identified by WHO) in the past 14 days.

If the answer is affirmative to any question, they are placed in our dedicated isolation room and advised as per the DHA by our trained staff. Blood pressure, pulse, temperature & BMI readings are taken for all patients before they visit the doctor.

Special measures to our physiotherapy services:

  • Assignment of dedicated cleaning resources to our physiotherapy wing
  • Regular cleaning and sanitization of treatment tables and all equipment and tools during the operational hours
  • Switching of treatment rooms for back-to-back patients to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of the equipment
  • For electrotherapy, ultrasound, shock wave, laser & Hypervolt procedures, all equipment is cleaned with soap and disinfection liquid between patients
  • For electrotherapy procedures, fresh adhesive electrodes are provided to each new patient
  • Use of gym mats is currently discouraged, but if necessary, will be covered with protective paper towels which are replaced between patients
  • Patients are advised to wear protective gloves during their physiotherapy sessions
Other Protective measures:
All patients & visitors are advised to wear a protective masks and gloves. when visiting the clinic to ensure their safety and the safety of other patients. We have also made sure that hand sanitizers are readily available across all common areas throughout the center, including the elevators, waiting areas and reception, and we encourage our visitors to use them as needed.
